I bless the day Dr Freedman took me on as an acupuncture patient and then handed me into the caring hands of Marion and Steph.
I have had a long and successful history of acupuncture treatment but I had no idea what a difference it was going to make to my knee problems when I was diagnosed with osteoarthritis. Two years ago I was going up and down stairs one at a time, taking a folding stick with me when I went out 'just in case', waking every time I wanted to turn over at night, filling myself up with painkillers and yet now, with regular treatment together with some simple exercises and a bit of swimming, I am living with the odd 'bad' day rather than the odd 'good' day - and long may it continue...!
Thank you ladies, you offer a wonderfully efficient, cheerful (and reasonably priced) service and although I know sometime in the future I will probably need surgery, I also feel sure that that day will be delayed - hopefully by years - because of the on-going treatment available at your clinic.

I have been having acupuncture for the past five years. It really has been wonderful. As they explain it is not a cure, but I find a monthly visit does help my problem. I always know when my next visit is near. I don't think I could be without it now. I really am pain free for more than three weeks. Really pleased my GP recommended this.

When acupuncture was suggested for my knees I felt "why not" - after all the painkillers were messing up my digestive system and the prospect of a knee replacement was not very palatable. But now, after a few months I am off painkillers and only back on them when I have not been able to visit Steph and Marion for more than three weeks - so yes, I do recommend them very highly.

Marion and Steph are a highly professional and experienced team providing an excellent and well organised service of acupuncture. I have found the acupuncture to be a very effective way of alleviating the pain of arthritis in my knees and this is essential to maintain mobility after the loss of a leg. The clinic is a very good place to meet up with people in a similar condition in an informal but a clinical atmosphere.
